The leaks keep coming, it seems. This year's Battlefield game will reportedly feature a co-op mode, a similar campaign to Battlefield 1, and include a Rainbow Six: Siege-inspired prone stance.
GamesBeat - which initially reported the game's apparent title, Battlefield V - has followed up with a series of further details. Apparently, the game will feature a co-op mode that has squads running through "randomly generated Conquest missions", although split-screen has not been confirmed.
The report also says that the campaign will follow a similar template to Battlefield 1 (which featured a series of smaller stories from multiple viewpoints), taking players across the globe. Other elements from Battlefield 1 will reportedly be brought over to maintain "internal consistency"- like that game's announcer voice actress, Katherine Kingsley.
Also covered was the idea that the game would offer a more flexible prone stance, letting characters move on their backs in the vein of Rainbow Six Siege.
The report also suggests that last week's rumour of cosmetic-only loot boxes was correct, a move from EA and DICE to improve on the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 'pay-to-win' controversy
You can count on hearing more before we see the game for ourselves as part of this year's EA Play showcase at E3 2018.
