Trainers,
the rumors and leaks were true — Niantic has just announced that Pokémon GO’s March Community Day will feature Bulbasaur, the iconic Generation I GRASS POISON starter. The third installment of Pokémon GO’s Community Day event series takes place on
Similar to the February announcement, the exclusive move is not yet known and is likely tied to evolving a Venusaur during the event. Unlike the Dratini community day, this one features triple catch XP, making it perfect for high intensity XP farming.
As far as shiny forms go, we have no information to share at the moment, but given the recent pattern of releasing a shiny family per event, we would bet an Incubator that shiny Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur will make an appearance. The event also features the usual Community Day perk: three hour long lure modules!
February results announced
Niantic has also shared the team based results of the previous community day, and let’s just say, we never so much blue color on a world map:
Team Mystic absolutely dominated the February Community day, achieving victory on almost every continent on planet Earth, with Oceania being the last foothold of Valor power.
