A day before the February Community day started, GO Hub asked our readers and followers to submit pictures from their local Community day event, hinting that a “secret project” is in the works. It’s time to unveil what we’ve been working on.
In order to celebrate the Pokemon GO community, and the diversity of every local Pokemon GO community out there, GO Hub has created a map, a very special map that features Community Day pictures from all around the world. For the first time ever (at this scale) you can truly see that it’s time for the world recognize how amazingly different and diverse the global Pokemon GO community is!
More than 120 pictures were submitted using the #PokemonGOCommunityDay and #ForTheHub hashtags and this article is the result of your efforts, pictures, stories and commentary.

Click on the shiny Dratini icon to display the submitted picture / story. Good luck exploring more than a hundred stories from all across the globe and remember – this is you, this is the global postcard for Pokemon GO.
Featured Community Day photos
These are some of the best pictures our readers have submitted. We’ll be honest, going through hundreds of photos brought tears to our eyes and pride to our hearts: Pokemon Go is NOT DEAD!
P.S. A member of our Go Hub Discord Community, WDWLover11, wrote us about how they took this event even further. Inspired by Community Day, their local Trainer group decided they were going to collect canned food to donate to a local food bank! They coordinated among themselves and planned where to meet up with their donations, and where those donations would be taken after. We at the Hub found this to be an amazing way to expand the meaning of Community Day! What ways will you come up with to expand upon the next Community Day?
Special Mention
We could not live with ourselves if we parted ways without a mention of the amazing Nidos Pokémon Go Argentina (See previous article here). Believe it or not, they did it again. More than 2,500 people participated in their event, donating over a ton of food for Los Piletones – Fundación Margarita Barrientos!
Diego, Administrator of Nidos Pokémon Go Argentina, is proud to say that it was a huge success, and we completely agree with him! See for yourself below. Now, we cannot wait to see what they have in store for the upcoming Community Day on March 25th, no pressure Diego.
The full imgur album and conclusion
The world is a beautiful place, full of color, food, faces, nature and as of recently – Pokemon. Remember who we are, players. We are one. We are family. Show us what you can do for your community during the next Community Day on March 25th! For the Hub!
